What's new in ITCH 1.0.4?
- Apr 06, 2021 Make sure that your Mac has a connection to the internet. Then turn on your Mac and immediately press and hold Command (⌘)-R until you see an Apple logo or other image. If you're asked to select a user you know the password for, select the user, click Next, then enter their administrator password.

- You're right that the tool lacks some features that BFXR has, though not the waveform one specifically (this is the 'Mode' slider). Without going too in depth, both tools differ in how they synthesise sound; the goal isn't for sfxia to be a superset of BFXR but to be a tool separate to it that produces sounds that are typically different to what it would produce.
The latest ITCH software is version 1.0.4, this update is recommended for all users running earlier versions.
